The sources of vascularization of the organs of the urogenital apparatus of fur-bearing animals, kept in cages and belonging to the canine family, were studies. The course and branching of the vessels providing venous outflow from the urogenital canal of the males of fur-bearing animals are presented. The histological structure of the intraorganic veins of the prostate gland and of the urogenital canal of fur-bearing animals, kept in cages, was researched. The objects of the scientific research were the cadaver material of fur-bearing animals. A complex of methods of classical morphological studies was used, including standard and fine preparation according to V.P. Vorobyov, the production of angioosteotopic and histological preparations. It was found that the caudal vena cava is formed as a result of the fusion of the left and right common iliac veins at the level of the sixth-seventh lumbar vertebra. The cranial rectal and left colonic veins form the caudal mesenteric vein, which originates in the pelvic cavity, receiving branches from the rectum. The internal iliac vein is formed by the fusion of the caudal gluteal and urogenital veins; at the border of the abdominal and pelvic cavities, it connects to the external iliac vein and forms the common iliac vein. The internal pudendal, prostatic and ventral perineal veins are the visceral branches of the internal iliac vein. Its parietal branches are the iliac-lumbar and the cranial gluteal and the caudal gluteal, middle sacral and middle caudal veins. The histological examination of the intraorganic vessels revealed that the largest veins of the muscular type are located in the surface layers of the prostate capsule; they do not contain smooth muscle cells in their wall and have the common features of the structure of veins in mammals.
