The value conflict verbalization: system arguments vs invectives

The article is devoted to the analysis of various strategies of conflict communication in the media (in the traditions of tolerance and in radical forms of defending one’s opinion, indicating unwillingness to compromise). The media space is a platform for positioning, comparing, contrasting, and fighting different values. Techniques of rhetorical argumentation prevailing over dysphemization and invectives in conflict verbalization is considered to be the general communicative benefit.
