The article represents a study of the language personality of Theresa May at the verbal-semantic level in the modern political discourse. The material of the study is based on the public speaking material of Theresa May as Prime Minister of Great Britain from 2016 to 2019. It has been established that the basis of the verbal-semantic level of the language personality of Teresa May represents neutral vocabulary. According to the analysis, it was revealed that the verbal-semantic level is characterized by the presence of political vocabulary, which includes political terms, references, lexical units related to the Brexit theme. In addition, the distinctive features are the use of military terminology, emotionally-evaluative vocabulary, means of expressing confidence and lexical repetitions
