The article presents the species composition of the lakes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. 18 species of fish are included in the lists of the Red Book of Uzbekistan (2019). In the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) from fish of Karakalpakstan from fish 5 species.
