Species composition of weeds in maize crops

The article presents the results of two-year studies to determine the species composition of weeds in maize crops. As a result of the phytosanitary monitoring in the Azov zone of the Rostov region, 34 species of weeds belonging to 16 Botanical families and 5 biological groups, with a clear predominance of spring crops, were observed on maize crops. The largest number of representatives of the following families: Aster - 9, cereals - 5, cruciferous - 2, amaranth - 2. The highest incidence in maize in the Azov area of the Rostov region was observed in amaranth thrown back.
