The types of fingerprint quality

In connection with the introduction of computer technology for the electronic registration of dactyloscopic data and adoption of regulatory enactments at the level of the Federal Law "On Public Fingerprinting in the Russian Federation"in 1998 in the CIS, in Russia there has been recently an increased amount of fingerprints in the AFIS database including through the use of fingerprint scanners "PAPILLON DS-30N" and "PAPILLON DS-30NM". Therefore, the significance of the requirements to fingerprint quality in traditional fingerprinting in order to improve the search performance of AFIS-PAPILLON has increased.
