It is offered to include 16 new kinds of invertebrates in the second edition of Chelyabinsk oblast Red Book (1 kind of earthworms, 1 - spiders, 1 - mollusks, 13 kinds of insects). Data on distribution the kinds in the region are provided, their available and estimated nature protection status, full regional bibliography by each kind. It is offered to discuss prospects of inclusion these types in the regional Red Book.
