In the article the necessity of terminology knowledge for the military specialist is emphasized. Word combinations of German military terminology are analyzed. The combined potential of the German language in the replenishment of the terminological fund is emphasized. Attributive word-combinations, the noun and verb-noun phrases are analyzed. The author gives numerous examples of terminological word combinations on the topic "Artillery and Missile Armament".
