The article mentioned the possible stage of the economic state of enterprises and the variety of indicators of their value, defined for different purposes, including social. Shows the main methodological features of the market value of enterprises at different stages of economic status. We consider the resource method of determining the market value of production-technical base of the enterprise and the enterprise as a whole. Author proves that the only primary source of market value of the enterprise is its capacity, generating revenue.
