Types of customs unions and their customs policies

This article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the types of customs unions and their customs policies, which are a key instrument for regulating the foreign economic activity of states. The aim of the work is to systematize and analyze the diversity of customs unions, their goals, functions and impact on the economies of the participating countries. The article examines historical and modern examples of customs unions, such as the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Customs Union of the European Union, the South African Customs Union and others, as well as their role in the global economy.
