Victimological Counteraction to Digital Victimization of Minors Involved in Extremist and Terrorist Activities

This article analyzes the growing level of victimization among minors in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies and their impact on the socioeconomic sphere. The study focuses on the mechanisms of minors' involvement in criminal and antisocial activity, as well as the dynamics of the growth of cybercrimes committed using information and communication networks. This article examines a system of victimological countermeasures against the digital victimization of minors involved in extremist and terrorist activities. The main idea of ​​the article is the need to develop a comprehensive approach that includes legal, social, and educational measures aimed at protecting minors from the threats associated with involvement in criminal activity through information and telecommunications networks, primarily the internet. The article is structured around several key components. First, the author defines the goals and objectives of victimological countermeasures, emphasizing the need to reduce the level of digital victimization of minors and ensure their safety. Secondly, the article examines the potential targets for positive impact, highlighting minors as victims and the factors that contribute to their involvement in extremist activity. Thirdly, it describes countermeasures, which should include both general and individual preventive measures, as well as the mechanisms for implementing these measures. The author also draws attention to the importance of engaging educational and social institutions in preventive activities, emphasizing the need to create online platforms for discussing extremism issues and providing legal information. Emphasis is placed on the need to adapt the current criminal law system to new challenges arising from the development of digital technologies and methods for recruiting young people to extremist groups.
