Victimology of social tension

In the article, victimity, arising in connection with social tension, understood as long-term dissatisfaction of significant masses of the population by their position, is considered. The types of victimization and their causes are considered in relation to the most dangerous stage of social tension associated with discontent of the population with the activity of representatives of various levels of government and the transition from constitutional protests to the commission of crimes, including mass riots and «color revolutions». Author’s approaches to understanding the content of victimological prevention in the aspect of its connection with social tension are considered. Options for improving legislation in the field of crime prevention are suggested. Proposals are made to change a number of articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in the aspect of connection with social tension.
