The article considers the process of virtualization of the modern culture and its phenomena. According to the author’s opinion the virtualization of culture is a significant consequence of informatization, because the new information environment by active influence on various spheres of society makes a transforming impact on the culture in general, moving its phenomena to the virtual space.
