Vita socialis of St. Augustine: a model for the construction of Christian community

The article examines in the history of philosophic perspective of the ideas and concepts of society in the works of St. Augustine. The author reveals the prevailing discursive machinery that led to the formation of the new understanding of the phenomenon of social produced in the way of synthesis of the Antiquity thinkers’ heritage and the Judeo-Christian tradition. Thus, the basic conditions and causes of the ordo amoris - Christian pattern of conceiving the social order are uncovered.
