Results of visualization of a flow of models by a method of a smoke wire in subsonic tunnel AT-3 IAFE Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology are presented. The possibility of obtaining not only qualitative flow patterns, but also conditions of quantitative data estimations in flow structures is demonstrated. To obtain the conditions of quantitative data estimations, high-speed camera smoke-wire visualization processing methods are proposed. It is shown that composition of a video and a normalized scale grid with the help of a video editor allows to investigate dynamic processes in a wake behind a body, and estimate scales and frequencies of flow periodic structures.
