Contribution of agroecosystems to carbon budget formation at the territory of Irkutsk region

Based on long-term (1994-2007) studies in agroecological monitoring performed in agroecosystems on agro-gray soils, there is proposed an analysis of carbon transformation under the impact of anthropogenic activities, technogenic pollution included. There are presented average-multi-annual parameters of СО2 emission during the vegetation season and throughout the year, its enhancement due to soil pollution is demonstrated, as well as its role in the formation of carbon balance in agroecosystem. For the first time there was conducted preliminary evaluation of agroecosystems contribution to carbon budget formation at the territory of Irkutsk region.
