The contribution of the team of scientists of the historical faculty of BSU in the study of repression BM ASSR in 1920-1950s

The author considers the contribution of the team of scientists of the Historical faculty of the Buryat State University in the study of repression BM ASSR. Faculty of History, BSU is one of the leading, Buryatia units in the study of history. The faculty is represented by the majority of areas of historical science, including the study of the repressive policies of the Soviet Union on the territory of Buryatia and the process of rehabilitation of victims of political repression. The article provides only a small fraction of the published scientific works and ongoing activities: round tables, seminars, devoted to the study of repression in the Soviet Union for political reasons. In addition, the scientists of the Faculty of History, BSU publish many works on other topics, but that somehow relate to the theme of repression in the Soviet Union. Also in the article, the author notes the positive experience of cooperation of teachers with civil society organizations, in particular with the Buryat association of victims of political repression
