The article is dedicated to the memory of Lidia Nikolayevna Gall, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, author of over 300 scientific publications and 82 patents for the development and improvement of mass spectrometers. The major contributions to the development of Russian and global science by L.N. Gall are as follows: (A) development of methods for designing mass spectrometers and discovery of the "electrospray" method for measuring mass spectra of nonvolatile compounds. The electrospray method is now the main method of mass spectrometric analysis in pharmacology and biotechnology; (B) development of approaches to theoretical biophysics aimed at studying the effects of low and superlow fields and radiation on living systems, approaches based on innovative quantum physical concepts. These concepts are already widely used in modern medicine and biomedicine; (C) uniting scientists engaged in the development of a new direction in science that studies the effects of low and superlow fields and radiation. L.N. Gall founded and chaired eight International Congresses "Low and Superlow Fields and Radiation in Biology and Medicine".
