Contribution of the Russian regions to the cleanup of the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant (case study of the Krasnodar krai)

By the case study of the Krasnodar Krai the author reviews participation of the regions of the Russian Federation in the cleanup of the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Basing upon documents the research considers numerous evidences of the assistance the Kuban provided to the regions of the USSR suffered from the Chernobyl disaster. Also, it is emphasized the significance of the contribution of the certain entities of the Russian Federation to the emergency response and reconstruction works at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
