The formation and development of legal education and science in Kazakhstan has its own peculiar features only for this country. These features are due to those events that occurred in the twentieth century on all the space that occupied the USSR. Therefore, the study of the specifics of the formation and development of legal education, as well as legal science in Kazakhstan, is inseparable from the assistance rendered to the republic by the universities of Soviet Russia, and then the USSR in the training of professional legal staff, in the organization of law schools, in the training of scientists lawyers. The study of the development of legal education and legal science is also impossible without an analysis of scientific interests and professional activities of the first legal scholars who arrived in Kazakhstan from leading Soviet universities to organize professional legal education in Kazakhstan.
