The contribution of V.I. Kanivets in formation of collection of archaeological items, and the exposition of the National museum of the Republic of Komi

The contribution of V.I.Kanivets in formation of archaeological collections of the National Museum of the Komi Republic is considered. Due to his activity the museum collections were replenished with new items which allowed most full understanding, in geographical and chronological aspects, the stages of ancient history of the European Northeast and to reveal peculiarities of material and spiritual culture of the population of the region.
