The authority in the focus of the informational sociology

The article describes the nature and function of the information authority, forms of its manifestation, especially in contemporary economic and information warfare. The author revealed new hidden levels of communication that affects on the people’s psyche causing different states of consciousness. The article is concluded by the idea about the necessity of the development of a special branch of social science - the sociology of information.
