Power structures and Buddhist sangha in traditional china (IV-VIIIth centuries ad)

The article is devoted to the studying of mutual relations of Buddhist sangha and the power in China during the period IV-VIII centuries AD. The special attention is given to discussion between a Buddhist monkhood and the power concerning expression of respect and submission of Buddhist sangha to the government of China.
