We investigated the effect of the combined endotracheal low flow anaesthesia with xenon or medical nitrous oxide on the structure of adaptive response. The study included 59 women who underwent surgery for breast cancer. xenon anaesthesia was found to promote favorable type of adaptive reaction during the postoperative period and to be preferable for the patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
