The article is devoted to the analysis of the influence of Buddhism on the culture of the East, especially India.. Buddhism has brought with it to the Indian literary tradition to explain the meaning of statements on specific examples with the help of short stories - parables. These stories helped to get the right view from the point of view of Buddhism.
