As we know the decisive role in increasing the genetic potential productive and exterior qualities of animals belongs to the bulls-leaders, so the main goal of breeders should consider rational using of the most valuable of them. A bull-producers can regarded as a means to transfer genetic information from one generation of cows to the next. To produce per capita milk at the level of health standards, we need to get in the country at least 52-53 million tones of milk, it is equivalent to an average daily milk yield per cow at modern livestock of cows (8,408 million) at the level 6152-6200 kg of milk per cow. In 2016 Omsk region were produced 324.7 thousand tons of milk. For the analysis of the obtained results we used a database of generated AIS Seleks-Dairy cattle. The analysis of the bulls influence on the efficiency of cows-daughters on individual characteristics, breed, line, countries of origin was fulfilled. It was installed the most productive to use daughters of red Danish bulls of improving breeds to make higher the qualities of red steppe breed. Daughters of bulls born in Russia, the most adapted to our conditions of feeding and maintenance, showed the best results during the life in the herds of the Siberian and Kulunda types, such as duration of lactation as amount of milk yield. The selection of bulls for breeding is the most difficult process in the cattle selection. Only careful selection and evaluation of manufacturers the ability to transfer desirable economic-useful traits will provide a positive dynamics in the breeding process.
