The article discusses the aspects of the importance of large-scale sports events in Russia and their coverage by social advertising. The author gives the definition of the term "social advertising", talks about the types of social advertising that were used during the 2018 FIFA world Cup in Russia, and also gives specific results of the impact of this sports event and social advertising on society - an increase in wishing children and adolescents to play football.
