The content of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), cortisol, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) in the blood of rats under hypothermia of varying depth and duration, as well as dalargin intraperitoneal administration were determined. In hypothermic states serum content of pituitary hormones (ACTH, TSH) decreases, the content of cortisol increases and the content of T4 and T3 does not significantly alter. In control animals, administration of dalargin increases the content of ACTH and TSH and decreases the content of cortisol, T4 and T3 in the blood. Effect of dalargin on the content of the studied hormones in the blood during hypothermia depends on its depth and duration.
