The influence of the acting forces on the quality of the cylindrical parts

This paper presents the factors affecting the quality of cylindrical thin-walled parts during operation. The most important factors are the forces acting on the workpiece during its capture in the clamping mechanism. The calculation and design of the clamping device for clamping the cylindrical thin-walled parts should take into account the stresses arising from the displacement of the tube's neck axis at the point of capture its clamping elements.
