The impact of demography on the economy

This article examines the demographic problems facing Russia and their impact on the economy: population decline, aging of the workforce, brain drain, etc. The main factors contributing to the natural decline of the population are listed. The statistical data on the birth rate and mortality of the population of the Russian Federation from 1990 to 2022, the population aged 55 and over are given.
