The canine tibial regenerate bones, being formed during leg lengthening by the method of transosseous distraction osteosynthesis, have been studied. It has been revealed that distraction has a shape-forming effect on the regenerating bone tissue and, besides, spheroid bone trabeculae are transformed into primary cylindrical osteons, lengthening of which is made orientatively along the vector of distraction at the expense of the processes of interstitial growth at their tops.
