Influence of doxorubicin on dilated myocardial remodeling during progressive growth

Бесплатный доступ

The influence of doxorubicin on the structural reorganization and dilated remodeling of rat myocardium during early stages of ontogenesis was studied. Preservation and activation of regenerative capacities of cardiomyocytes after doxorubicin treatment (in dose 5 mg/kg) contributing to conservation and increasing total cardiomyocyte number in the heart and as a result to heart hypertrophy during the early stage of ontogenesis were revealed. Cellular mechanisms and morphogenesis of dilated heart remodeling after the doxorubicin treatment are presented.
