The study attempts to examine the impact of everyday factors on the development of the world perception by the North Caucasus Cossacks. Everyday life of the Cossacks in the North Caucasus included household activities, farming, cattle breeding, gardening and other types of economic activities, military service, community organizations, rites and rituals, spiritual and religious practices. The aspects of daily life and routine of the North Caucasus Cossacks led to their specific worldview formation. The Cossack had to constantly act as a farmer and a farm worker, on the one hand, and as a warrior in public service, on the other hand. These two principles in the Cossack real life resulted in the development of specific views on the world and their place in it. The purpose of the study is to identify the main characteristics of the Cossacks’ everyday life and the views on it in the public mind of the North Caucasus Cossack population expressed in the worldview and world perception of the surrounding reality by the Cossacks. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the consideration of the direct relationship between the daily life of the North Caucasus Cossacks and the ideas of public consciousness, its worldview, world perception, and value system. The research findings will contribute to a better understanding of ethnic culture and lifestyle of the Cossack population in the North Caucasus.
