Iron deficiency anemia is a special public health problem, one of the most common forms of elementary insufficiency, and iron deficiency anemia is the most common in the structure of anemia. According to WHO, 700 million people suffer from iron deficiency anemia (IDA). In some regions, the incidence of IDC among children reaches 30-70%, among women - 11-40%, and among teenage girls - 9%. It is important to know that latent (latent) iron deficiency (LJ) is widespread among the population, when hemoglobin levels are still normal, but transport and organ iron reserves have already been depleted. It ranges from 19.5 to 30%. In addition, 50 to 86% of women in various populations are at risk of anemia. The purpose of this work is a comprehensive study of iron deficiency anemia, to determine the relationship between the incidence of anemia and various risk factors (gender, age, pregnancy, concomitant diseases, prescription of the disease). The study was conducted on the basis of State Budgetary Healthcare Institution "Kyakhta Central District Hospital" in the period from 2020 to 2024. The results obtained will allow us to develop personalized recommendations to reduce the risk of IDA in the population.
