The festivals and shows of folk art and their influence on the development of amateur talent groups in the Urals during the 1960's-1970's

The article examines the ways by which the festivals, reviews, competitions of folk art influenced the activities of amateur art groups. The author studies the definite features of the folk festivals in the Urals at the epoch of social stagnation, determines the results and consequences of the studied process for the development of amateur art in the Ural region. The article comes to the conclusion that the number of members of the creative teams and the level of their skills were increasing.
