This article is dedicated to the issues related to the correlation offormal and informal institutions and their influence on economic development. The article considers why the institutional environment does not always provide correct interaction between economic agents. The article shows attempt to determine conditions under which informal institutions have a stronger influence on the interaction of subjects than formal.
