The article describes the influence of sweet carbonated drinks on the microflora of the oral cavity. The mechanisms and reasons of increased growth of microorganisms belonging to the aggressive part of the oral microflora are identified. Considering the consequences of drinking soda, experimental evidence of its negative impact on the oral microbiome is provided.
