The influence of geographical and climatic characteristics of Yakutia on the mentality of indigenous peoples

The article presents an analysis of the influence of climatic and geographical factors on mentality. The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the region with unique conditions, is defined as the object of research. It was revealed that harsh conditions had formed veneration for the natural world. In the mentality of indigenous peoples, it was expressed in the subject attitude to nature, the perception of nature as an active participant in human life.
