The article presents a theoretical analysis and practical experience of the term «hyperprotection» from the point of view of various fields of knowledge. The article describes the influence of overprotection on the formation of social and communicative development in children diagnosed with autism (ASD), symptoms and formative factors of overprotection, as well as the experience of specialists in the field of psychology and the concept of «hyperprotection». The mechanism of overprotection, the role and influence on the internal state of parents and children with autism spectrum disorder is characterized, and the signs and manifestations of this condition in children with autism spectrum disorder are described.
