Impact of globalization on demographic processes

The article examines the interaction between demographic and globalisation processes in the world. It brings to light the main problems and contradictions of the current demographic processes in developed and developing countries faced with the global threats. The authors show that the information revolution and formation of a megasociety may be used for changing the mankind's conscience and for transition from the extended consumption model to an ecological model of safekeeping the planet.
