The impact of global trade on the development of agricultural regions in Russia: economic analysis

The article examines the impact of global trade on the economic development of Russia’s agricultural regions. The article examines the growth trends in exports and imports of agricultural products in recent years, as well as their impact on key indicators of the regions, such as production, employment and investment inflows. The article uses data from the Federal State Statistics Service and the results of modern scientific research. Statistical analysis and econometric modeling methods have been applied to assess the relationship between trade processes and the development of the agricultural sector. It has been established that the increase in exports has a positive effect on the economy of the regions, however, restrictions remain related to the low marketability of products. The conducted research confirms the significant impact of global trade on the development of Russia’s agricultural regions. The growth of agricultural exports contributes to an increase in production, employment and investment, which is especially noticeable in regions with a high level of integration into the global economy. These processes create the basis for sustainable economic growth and modernization of agriculture, emphasizing the importance of foreign markets as an incentive for development. It has been found that effective integration of agricultural regions into global trade processes requires an integrated approach.
