The aim of the research is to study the effect of processing seed material and feeding vegetative plants with humic preparations on the formation of the yield and the biochemical composition of soybean seeds. The studies were carried out in 2019–2020 at the experimental site of the UNPC “Studencheskij" of the Chuvash State Agrarian University, located in the northern part of the Chuvash Republic. The object of research was the soybean variety SibNIIK 315. The experiments are based on the following variants: 1) control (without processing); 2) pre-sowing treatment with "Humate +7"; 3) pre-sowing treatment with “Lignohumate”; 4) treatment of plants with "Humate +7"; 5) treatment of plants with "Lignohumate". Field germination of seeds treated with the preparations "Humate +7" and "Lignohumate" increased by 7.6 and 5.4%, respectively. In variants with the treatment of seeds and vegetative plants of soybeans with the preparation "Humate +7" at the time of harvesting, 99.5 and 98% of the plants were preserved, respective-ly. The use of "Lignohumate" did not affect the safety of plants. The treatment of seed material with “Lig-nohumate” and “Humate +7” made it possible to increase the attachment height of the lower pod by 13 and 8.9%, respectively. When treating seeds with "Humate +7" and "Lignohumate", the number of beans with filled seeds increased by 36.1 and 31.1%, respectively. Treatment of seeds with humic preparations influ-enced the size of seeds. Thus, the largest mass of 1000 seeds (172.5 g) was obtained in the variant with the treatment of seeds with "Humate +7", slightly less (171.1 g) - when treating seeds with "Lignohumate". Seed treatment with "Humate +7" and "Lignohumate" provided an increase in yield by 70.7 and 55.1%, respectively. The increase from plant feeding with "Humate +7" was 20.7%, "Lignohumate" - 10.5%. Bio-chemical analysis showed that seed treatment with "Humate +7" and "Lignohumate" increases the protein content to 40.32 and 40.2%, respectively, which is 7.8 and 7.5% higher than the control variant.
