Effect of photosensor characteristics on reconstruction quality of digital Fresnel hologram

In this article results of estimation of effect of photosensor characteristics (quantity and size of pixels, temporal and spatial noises, radiometric parameters) on reconstruction quality of digital Fresnel holograms are shown. Comparisons of methods of numerical digital Fresnel holograms reconstruction and improving of their quality are obtained. Using experimental setup digital holograms are recorded; estimations of limiting parameters of objects and comparison of methods are verified. Radiometric and noise characteristics of photo- and videocameras of different types are measured. Effect of these parameters on signal-to-noise ratio of digital holograms and reconstructed images is analysed. Calculated and experimental evaluation are obatined.
