Influence of chrome on morphology of carbide particles in converted steels and in iron-chrome electrolytic coverings

Бесплатный доступ

The mechanism of influence of chrome which is present in converted steels, on the shape and the sizes of carbide particles, formed in diffusive layers at carbonizing is offered. It is shown, that in steels, contain-ing less than 2,1% of chrome, carbides are formed in the form of thin plates, in steel with the greater con-tents of chrome - in the form of equiaxial spherical inclusions. The aforesaid is confirmed with the re-searches lead on iron-chrome electrolytic coverings.
