Impact and consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic on unemployment rate in several countries

The aim of the study is to analyze statistical data for such a macroeconomic problem as unemployment. The pandemic has forced many factories to close, leading to a sharp drop in production. The paper examines the impact of the introduction of quarantine and self-isolation on the employment of the working-age population, as well as the forced measures that employers had to go to in order to keep companies in working order.
