The influence of I. Kant's idea of a schematism of the cognitive process on the development of library's science terminology

The importance of Immanuel Kant's concept of the schematism of the cognitive process is emphasized, under the influence of which library science becomes a methodologically developed science: the configuration of the "library" category is clarified, a consistent classification of libraries is proposed, theoretical laws are formulated, prospects for the application of schematization for five related document communication sciences are shown, etc.
