The influence of ISIL on the youth in the republics of the North Caucasus

The article analyses the processes of emergence and spread of ISIL ideology in the North Caucasus. The author considers alarming data of its increasing popularity among the youth of the region. In addition, the research deals with the methods and purposes of recruiting of new young people into the fold of a terrorist group. The author proposes some measures to counter the spread of extremism in the region.
