Effect of pulse-arc MIG welding on the mechanical properties of welded seams made with austenitic-ferritic welding wires

The results of the impact of pulse-arc MIG welding on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the multi-pass welds made with austenitic-ferritic welding wires are presented. It is shown that the use of pulsed arc process contributes significantly to the metal structure refinement and increases the metal impact toughness from 3 to 4 times.
