The effect of the impulse ultrasound of «EXOGEN - 3000» (USA), a new device of low frequency, in the process of limb lengthening (15 adult patients) and during treatment of bone fractures (11 patients) was studied to reduce the periods of bone fragment consolidation using transosseous osteosynthesis with the Ilizarov fixator. While comprehensive studying the reparative osteogenesis the authors noted that ultrasound of low frequency had no effect on the reduction of the periods of bone fragment consolidation and those of patients' treatment.
