Influence of individual and estimated model of the situation on experience of loneliness by the adult personality

Situational approach to the analysis of activity of the personality in activity opens new opportunities for the analysis of individual life experience of the personality. In the present article the method of diagnostics and the analysis of loneliness as life situation is offered. The inventory "Assessment of situational activity of the adult personality (ASA)" allows to correlate primary categorization of a life situation - her assessment as daily, significant or difficult and type of behavioral strategy - adaptive, active and adaptive, coping-activity and hipercoping-activity (the allocated E.A. Belan special type of activity, an extreme form of mastering the expressed imbalance of personal and situational determination of activity); and also to diagnose 4 components of situational activity of the personality: physiological, mental, behavioral and reflexive. In total they make individual and estimated model of a situation. The fact of experience in itself of loneliness as life situation is less informative for understanding of individually special processes of activity of the personality especially as for the observer they are hidden in individual consciousness and aren't always distinctly realized by the personality. Meanwhile, primary categorization of a situation of loneliness, namely, perception by her personality as daily, significant or difficult, exerts impact on subjective characteristics of experience of loneliness. However the direct behavioral strategy of the personality in a situation of loneliness isn't interconnected with subjective characteristics of experience of loneliness that contradicts logic of situational activity of the personality. Given a contradiction causes need of accounting of individual and estimated model of a situation for the analysis of genesis of situational activity of the personality for a loneliness situation. It is shown that characteristics of individual and estimated model of a situation influence experiences and psychological states of the personality who is in this situation, ambiguously. The practice focused conclusions which can set the direction of psychological escort of the personality in situations of experience of loneliness are presented.
